Conference Call: Tell Us Your Thoughts on Retirement Options in Illinois
Small business owners with 25 or more full and/or part-time employees are invited to participate in an interactive conference call about the Illinois Secure Choice Savings Program with Small Business Majority and staff from the Illinois State Treasurer’s office. Secure Choice is a work-and-save program that offers a path for increased employee retirement benefits at no cost to business owners.
Small businesses that have been in operation for at least two years and do not offer a qualified retirement savings plan for their employees will automatically enroll their employees to participate in Secure Choice beginning in 2018. Employees can opt-out at any time. Once enrolled, employees will have 3% automatically deducted from their payroll for a portable retirement account that they own and control.
Small Business Majority, with participation from the Illinois State Treasurer's office, invite you to register for an interactive conference call on 9:30 am on February 21 or March 7 to:
- Learn how the Secure Choice program impacts you.
- Ask questions about implementation and your role.
- Provide feedback on implementation and employee messaging.
