MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Expert Available to Give Small Business Perspective on White House Call for Tax Reform

For Immediate Release:
Tuesday, 1 August, 2017

John Arensmeyer, Founder & CEO of Small Business Majority, is available to speak to media about the White House event this afternoon at which President Trump is expected to call for massive tax cuts on behalf of small businesses

Who: Small business and economic expert John Arensmeyer, Founder & CEO of Small Business Majority, is available to speak to media about specific tax reform policies that would help small businesses. Small business owners nationwide are also available to speak about tax reforms that would help level the playing field for small firms.

“Thanks to various breaks and loopholes, our tax code is an uneven playing field that skews in favor of big businesses,” said John Arensmeyer, Founder & CEO of Small Business Majority. “America’s job creators are tired of footing the bill for large corporations, which is why we would like to see the tax code overhauled so that it benefits entrepreneurs who are focused on growing their enterprises and making payroll at the end of each month. While small businesses can certainly be helped by a modest reduction in corporate tax rates, we only favor that sort of reduction if it is accompanied by the elimination of costly loopholes that exist purely to benefit large firms.”
