MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Small Business Expert, Small Business Owners Available to Talk Tax Reform

For Immediate Release:
Monday, December 4, 2017

With lawmakers finalizing their tax reform legislation, Small Business Majority Founder & CEO John Arensmeyer as well as small business owners nationwide are available to discuss why the proposals now being considered will not help small businesses

The respective tax bills passed by the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate do virtually nothing to assist America’s small businesses,” Arensmeyer said. “Both measures give the overwhelming majority of benefits to large corporations, hedge fund managers and wealthy lawyers, while exploding the deficit and doing nothing to close loopholes that only help the largest firms. If lawmakers are serious about sparking job growth, they must overhaul their current tax reform framework and adopt a bottom-up approach that levels the playing field for small businesses that already pay their fair share of taxes.”
