On November 20, Small Business Majority filed an amicus brief alongside nearly 40 companies and individuals doing business in Texas before the Texas Supreme Court in the case of Zurawski v. Texas. The brief argues that the state's restrictive abortion bans are bad for the business community and are having a negative impact on the state’s economy—including an estimated $14.5 billion in lost revenue each year.

On September 29, Small Business Majority and partner organizations across the country submitted a letter to U.S. Senate leadership and the U.S. House of Representatives in support of the Child Care Stabilization Act, legislation that would ensure adequate and continued childcare funding to bolster a quality workforce and be a key factor in entrepreneurial sustainability.
Cristian Corona is the owner and founder of Little Sprouts Language Immersion Preschool, located in Los Angeles, Calif. After having her first child, she began working in the childcare industry and went back to school. This inspired her to open her first childcare center, which opened in 2020 just before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
