Small Business Majority and nearly 40 organizations urge Congress to support Small Business Lending Disclosure Act

On June 15, Small Business Majority and nearly 40 organizations in the small business ecosystem sent a letter to policymakers urging them to support the Small Business Lending Disclosure Act. This legislation would provide small businesses with transparent lending terms that protects them from hidden fees and undisclosed APR rates.

Women entrepreneurs see access to reproductive health as essential to their economic security

One year after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Small Business Majority conducted an opinion poll of women small business owners to understand the importance of reproductive rights to their economic well-being and to the entire small business ecosystem. They support improved and expanded access to reproductive healthcare, including birth control and abortion.

Small business organizations urge Congress to address debt limit immediately

Alongside 12 organizations that support the small business ecosystem, Small Business Majority submitted a letter to Congressional leaders urging them to immediately address the debt ceiling crisis for the sake of America's entrepreneurs. The organizations outline the ways in which small businesses are already being impacted and how they will be effected if nothing is done. What's more, the letter calls on Congress to ensure that no small business programs are cut in negotiations.
