Small Business Majority Network Council Member ̢????at White House to Talk Clean Energy Today

A small business owner in Small Business Majority̢??‰?s Network Council will participate in a Small Business Roundtable Discussion at the White House today to talk about finding solutions to address climate costs and the transition toward a clean energy future.

Michigan entrepreneur Jon Tobias will join Administration officials and small business owners from across the country to talk about how smart clean energy and energy efficiency policies will spur innovation and help business owners save money and grow their companies. All of the small business owners participating in the roundtable have found success through either producing goods or providing services that contribute to an alternative energy economy.

A scientific opinion poll Small Business Majority released in 2012 found seven in 10 small business owners agree government has a role in driving our country toward a cleaner, more competitive economy. Small businesses also support continued government investment in clean energy technologies. What̢??‰?s more, when asked about the biggest problems facing their small business, 70 percent of small employers cited the rising costs of doing business̢??‰۝such as increased fuel and electricity prices and higher material and supply costs.
