Women now own nearly 10 million small businesses across the United States. Women-owned firms significantly contribute to our economy's vitality, supporting more than 23 million jobs.
Small Business Majority is working in partnership with a network of organizations around the country, both to create a strong national small business voice in Washington, DC, and help small business owners in different states understand how legislation being debated in the capitol would affect them.
We foster a network of small business owners across the country who work with us in various ways to educate other business owners, convey their perspectives to policymakers and ensure that small business voices continue to be heard on a local, regional and national level. We also conduct listening tours around the country to answer small business owners’ questions on how to navigate through the new healthcare law. We partner at times with other business organizations, state officials and healthcare policy experts.
Along with our busy Washington D.C. office, we have offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, St. Louis, Springfield, MO, and Denver.
